Dear Diary,

     Today I was doing a project about Ancient-Egypt with Summer. We both dressed up as mummies. 

Dear Diary, 

      I made friends with a girl named Summer today. We sat down and made a summer names table because we both noticed that our names had something to do with summer. 

Dear Diary, 

       Julian started making fun of me, but Jack stood up for me. He is such a good friend.

Dear Diary, 

       I made my first friend today. His name is Jack Will.

Dear Diary, 

     I got mad at Jack today. He was talking to Julian. I got mad at him because this was what he said to Julian "the friendship thing? It was all Mr. Tushman's idea: I mean, the thing is: he always follows me around."  this got me really upset. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I called my mom and she came and picked me up.

Dear Diary,

    Jack still doesn't know why I am mad at him. 

Dear Diary, 

     I talked to Jack on face book. Turns out that he was only saying that to keep himself from getting beat up. I decided we will be friends again. 

Dear Diary, 

     I am going on a field trip this week and my mom is really stressing out. We will be spending the night there for two days.  It should be really peaceful.

Dear Diary, 

     Julian is trying to turn the whole school against us and almost the whole school is on Julian's side.

Dear Diary,  

     People are starting to notice that Julian is bullying me and Jack and are starting to stick up to me. 

Dear Diary, 

     Jack and I went to use the bathroom in the forest and met a big bunch of seventh graders. They started calling us names and pushing us to the ground. Then suddenly one of the seventh graders toppled over and someone behind us said 'leave them alone!' It was Henry, Amos, and Miles. Julian's gang. This time though they stood up for me instead of knocking me down. We ran and ran and then I lost my hearing aids.

Dear Diary, 

     I went back to school and found out who the seventh grader was and that he had stolen my hearing aids and broken them. He was going to buy us new ones ( and they cost a fortune!!). His name was Eddie. 

Dear Diary, 

     When I got home my dad had bought us a puppy and we named him Bear. 

Dear Diary, 

     Julian is now the only one bullying me and the whole school likes me now because they heard about the fight with Eddie. I am now not afraid to look at them anymore.

Dear Diary, 

     The end of school is near and the awards are coming up.

Dear Diary, 

     I won an award and everyone cheered for me. The award that i got was: 'The Henry Ward Beecher medal to honor students who have been exemplary in certain areas throughout the school year' this was the best award in the entire school. 

Dear Diary, 

     No one has made fun of me any more and that is a true act of kindness because they have stopped judging me for what I look like.  They are now judging me for who I am.

Dear Diary, 

        I went to school for the first time today. I felt like everyone was staring at me. I just looked down to avoid eye contact and decided not to talk to anybody.
